It's now, when I love my home most, that I forget that it isn't always cool weather and colorful leaves and "golden times of day" that seem to last a couple of hours instead of a few minutes.
What I wrote a few weeks ago:
I would like to make plans to spend June-August 2010 somewhere that doesn't have 90-plus degree heat and 80% humidity most days.
Where would such a place be? Scandinavia, I'm assured by a friendly Finn, but Norway's website says the warmth continues all year long.
Canada's looking good, but not Nova Scotia. Much as I love it, Summer '08 there was pretty indistinguishable from here.
Australia?
I can't think about it right now...I wanta go take some photos of the leaves....

So, tell us about Nova Scotia in 08! And everything else that's happened in your life for the past 37 years...my email's gemnord@gmail.com. No one's called me Thor in decades--it's kind of thrilling. So glad you decided to blog!(It's the frustrated journalist in us, don't you think? Or is it the frustrated crank? Hard to tell.)
