Swag!

With humble thanks to all my many fans ... chief among them, Thor ... who want to see about Nova Scotia, I promise to post after giving it some thought.  NS needs to be presented with all the greatness it deserves.  Coolest place I've been, yet, and I've been a few.

Today, I'm just thinking about swag.  The items here were purchased at a little resale shop where my aunty lives in comfy but not overly ostentatious retirement.  When the residents tire of something, they leave it in the resale shop with a price tag.  All proceeds go to the gardening efforts.

Amazing, how one woman's discard is another's delight to find!

  1. Ah--I sense a kindred flea marketer! I am the original "bin-diver." What a sweet find that shop is. And a great idea for the garden! I'm a volunteer gardener at an unluxe nursing home and it's heartbreaking. Last month, they tore up one-third of the garden with a bobcat to repair a tiny wall not even very near the garden. But back to inspirational swag--I'm licking my chops to get to the nearest resale shop!

  2. Ah, it seems our paths have paralleled at lest some of the time! I'm known as the family dumpster diver. My home includes two Berne Of Indiana sofas for which I paid a total of $75!
